Measurement System for Isolated Voltage and Temperature Signals
SPARTAN is a complete, powerfull and yet affordable measurement system with isolated inputs for measuring quasi static en dynamic voltages or temperatures.

Central / Decentral
SPARTAN can be used as a central or decentralized measurement system. Due to the integrated CAN-bus interface (option) , SPARTAN can easily be extended with the imc CANSAS-modules, if needed at a large distances, without the need for long sensor cabling.
Choice of housing ?
SPARTAN is available in five frame models, from 16 - 128 measurement channels, and two measurement amplifier models. In all cases, isolated channels enable interference free measurement even in tricky voltage fields. SPARTAN-T, with its sampling rate of up to 5 Hz per channel, is the specialist for temperature and quasi-static voltage measurements. SPARTAN-U offers sampling rates of up to 500 Hz per channel, designed for measurements of dynamic voltage.
The full extent of SPARTAN's versatility is possible thanks to the measurement amplifier modules with 16 - 128 channels, and four direct incremental counters. Frequency, time, displacement, RPM, velocity etc. can be measured directly and processed synchronously with other signals. 16 digital inputs and eight digital outputs allow capture
and output of control- and triggering signals. Plus, the optional field bus interface reads measured data from the CAN-/LIN-Bus, synchronized with signals from the analog and digital channels.
Measurement and Analysis
Along with capture of the raw data, the system's digital signal processors can subject channel data to freely configurable, real time processing operations. In addition, all analog, digital, field bus and computed channels can be used for open- and closed-lope control tasks or for signal limit monitoring.
Flexible Connector Choice
The standard imc DSUB-15 connector is nicely shielded and very handy. For thermocouple use, the temperature version of these connectors is fitted with a cold-junction sensor. On-demand these systems can be delivered with connectors of your choice.

Flexible Data Storage | 'Network Ready'
The standard TCP/IP network interface makes an easy link to the PC. Multiple devices, including units belonging to other families of imc measurement systems, can be joined into a distributed measurement network running a single, uniform, GUI. All devices work in parallel, with fully synchronized measurement channels.
