Spectrum's M3i-32xx Serie

M3i-32xx Series
500 MS/s - 12 Bit Digitizer

The M3i-32xx Series of Spectrum consists of 4 models of very fast 12-bit A/D-boards. The sampling rates range from 250MS/s to 500MS/s.

Boards are available for the PCI/PCI-X and PCI Express bus.

M3i-32xx Series boards

  • up to 500 MS/s on one channel and up to 250 MS/s on two channels
  • simultaneous sampling on all channels
  • separate monolithic A/D converter and amplifier per channel
  • no ADC interleaving for best quality
  • 6 input-ranges: ±200mV to ±10V
  • up to 2 synchronous digital channels with multi-purpose I/O
  • edge, window, re-arm, OR/AND trigger
  • 128 MByte on-board memory (expandable up to 2 GByte)

 
The four models from the M3i-32xx series are designed for fast and high quality data acquisition. Each of the input channels has its own monolithic A/D converter and its own programmable input amplifier. This allows simultaneous recording of signals on both channels with 12 bit resolution without any phase delay between them. Even on 500MS/s the board uses only one A/D converter per channel, thus avoiding the problems associated with interleaving. The extremely large on-board memory allows for long recording times even at the highest sampling rates.
